Nordic triumph 2-2
Denmark and Sweden played 2-2 in tonight's Euro football match. Good for us, good for them. It means Italy are out of the cup. Bad for them.
I'm not used to watching football, but there's someting about a big crowded bar with huge screens on every wall and stacks of cheering fans. The atmosphere lifts me up and it's almost as good as a great concert. Almost... ;-)
I went with my two friends from work, Knud and Pernille
There's also a pic of the cheering crowd when Denmark scored its second goal :-)
Minutes after the match, Danish fans crowded the streets and cars drove past honking their horns as if Denmark had already won the Euro Cup. Talk about overreacting?!

I agree with your feelings regarding football. I generally consider myself not interested in football but whenever the big tournaments comes around, and when Sweden is doing well of course, and when the bars and squares fills up with people drinking beer and watching the matches on big screens, then I'm in!
Was there any partying going on on the streets of Copenhagen? We had the car horns going outside our apartment as soon as the match was over.
(The deleted comments from me above is because I thought I could edit my entries. I couldn't so I deleted them and rewrote them. Sorry about that. I'll preview before I publish the next time! :^))
